first of all, this netbook looks good and it also has the good touch screen. however, you can hear some stranger sound or noise from fans of hard driver. perhaps this sound from hard driver is regular in USA. but lots of Chinese users think there noises from fans and hard driver are not regular. so they used software to control that sound from that fan.
I also got this noise from my s10-3t, so asking CS of aamazon.com to replace a new one to me. the CS is good, they said will send new one to me tomorrow.
if the new one also has that noise, I will return this laptop.
too bad experience!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this computer with a 7-day return guarantee, and then promptly flew off for 10 days. This is the WORST computer I have used in memory. Everything is so slow (eg – Internet Explorer windows take 8-10 seconds to open up, the keypad seems to miss 1 out of every 10 strokes I enter, iTunes takes 1 min+ to load, etc.) I am desparately hoping that maybe if I disable the tablet functionality the computer will speed up. The audio is awful, and it is eerie that there is a Dolby sticker on the side of the screen. I think IBM/Lenovo generally makes very good products (I am a tech equity research analyst and in fact I cover Lenovo), but this experience has made me never want to bu another Lenovo machine.

+ side:
Looks nice in pictures and in person.
Good size
Little on the heavy side in terms of netbooks but is okay
- side:
Totally unusable as a tablet for taking notes and if you are even thinking about using it for inking, forget it!
Touchscreen is capacitive only, will not respond to stylus. Responds to fingers only
Touchscreen is very unresponsive, in particular around the edges, it will drive you absolutely nuts trying to use it
This thing drove me nuts in 1 night of trying to use it, I absolutely hated the lack of tablet functionality and the mouse design is horrible- can you imagine, a tiny mouse pad area, that you need to click and slide over at the same time, hoping to get the cursor to where it needs to go within a teeny area? It’s ridiculous, and utterly unusable.
I very much hope that Amazon will fully refund me for this cute little piece of junk.
SUMMARY:
If you need a functional tablet look elsewhere.
If you just want a cool looking little netbook and are ok with using an external mouse all the time, go for it.

Unfortunately, I had to send this one back after two hours. Like most Lenovo products, the build quality is high and as a netbook only, this is an impressive machine. Where this product fails–and fails miserably–is the size of the battery that sticks out from the back of the device. The touch screen isn’t as responsive as one would expect and twice within the two hours that I had this, the touch screen software crashed. The ebook reader included is limited to PDF and TXT files and the few PDFs that I tried didn’t render clearly. If you’re looking for a netbook, I’d suggest the much less expensive S10-3 without the ability to fold into a tablet. If you’re looking for a 10″ tablet, I suggest you look elsewhere.

If you need a small portable touchpad to do work on and easily portable, BUY THIS!
If you need a small portable touchpad to play on, buy the iPad.
Or buy both…. you won’t go wrong.
