After spending 30 min trying to get it started up I was about ready to contact Amazon for an RA to ship it back, but then went ahead and did a system recovery (F9) on it and reinstalled every thing. That did the trick and now it works like it should. That was faster than getting another one sent to me.

he Battery only last 6-8 hoursI bought this ASUS Eee PC Seashell 1005PE-PU17-BK 10.1Inch Black Netbook (Up to 14 Hours of Battery Life). I followed all the directions on charging the battery. I even exercised the battery and the most I can get it to stay charged is 6-8 hours. I love this netbook, but I paid more for it because the battery was suppose to last up to 14 hours, but it doesn’t even come close. I should have gotten a little cheaper one, and it probably would’ve lasted just as long.
