Stopped working within 27 hours of arrival. The trackball still works, but the laser, or whatever it is, no longer does. So, basically, the mouse cursor no longer appears on screen when this mouse is installed.
Not dropped or mistreated in any way.

I have a laptop on a stool next to my couch and wanted something other than a mouse or wireless keyboard to easily scoll and surf news pages.
I used to use the arm of my couch for the mouse, but since I have a new couch with a wicker armchair, the mouse doesn’t work.
This item came without instructions. After a bit of a time, I managed to use it, however, I found it heavy and cumbersome. Awkward to use at best, clumsy and just not very useful.
I wish I had something postive to say, other than it was so cheap that I didn’t feel so bad when I put it aside after a day and don’t intend on using it again.
I feel bad, that this will end up in a yardsale or a landfill.

I purchased this to replace my regular mouse due to my carpal tunnel.
In order to even use the mouse, I had go to the control panel and slow the mouse speed way down, because even small movements caused the cursor to jump all over the screen.
I found holding the mouse in either of the 2 recommended methods positions is awkward and doesn’t improve the control nor is the movement of the mouse reliable. If you don’t hold the mouse in an up/down (no slanting) position on the mouse-pad surface it doesn’t work or works sporadically. It also must have a mouse pad to use this, other surfaces don’t work well. Also if you are using this on a table or other surface, the bottom of the mouse will catch on every little imperfection of the surface. In addition, you will either rub your fingertip or your hand raw.
The way you are required to hold the mouse means your arm and wrist are in the same angle as using a typical mouse which means it is not very ergonomic.
I definitely could not wear the mouse on a finger and type because it just slid off my finger no matter how tight I Velcroed the strapped around my finger. It was also difficult not to click both mouse buttons at the same time due to them being so close together.
I definitely would not recommend purchasing this item

This unit was defective when I received it. One button would not work properly. Needless to say, I could not recommend that anyone buy this model. Qality control at the mfring plant must be very bad.
